This is an example of a blog post I wrote for the Tippecanoe Child Abuse Prevention Council.

It may not seem like it but Summer is just around the corner! The kiddos will finally be home from school for three whole months! With so much time on your hands with the kids, we have compiled some of the best summer camps in Tippecanoe County. Summer camps are a great way for children to grow both personally and in their relationships with other children their age while also partaking in fun and engaging activities.

1. Camp Tecumseh ~ Brookston, IN

Camp Tecumseh is one of the most popular summer camps in Indiana. Located on the bank of the Tippecanoe River in between the cities of Delphi and Brookston, it is only about a 20 mile trip from Lafayette. With both day and overnight camps offered, there is something for everyone. Centered around Christianity, Camp Tecumseh is sure to have a lasting effect on your child. 2. iD Tech Camps ~ West Lafayette, IN

iD Tech Camps are the #1 summer tech camps in the world with over 160 locations, with one being right down the road at Purdue University. These camps are located at the most distinguished campuses around the world, each location holds a hand-selected staff, a unique campus experience, and stimulating course curriculum delivered in small clusters of 8 students per one instructor. 3. Off the Wall Sports Summer Camp ~ Carmel, IN

Off the Wall Sports Summer Camps is an all day camp that takes place at the Off the Wall Sports facility. With activities ranging from soccer to rock climbing, your child will always be busy and active throughout the day. The camp is for children 5-13. Learn more at www.offthewallsports.net

4. Interactive Academy ~ Zionsville, IN

Interactive Academy camps are for your children that are interested in gymnastics, cheerleading, tumbling, dancing or taekwondo. With nine weeks of themed fun, your child will be learning have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends and have fun.
